A gallery specializing in painting, prints, photography, sculpture and ceramics from well known and emerging artists in Guelph and Southern Ontario. The work is fresh, original and of outstanding quality.
The Whitestone is unique it is also a collective of artists working together to keep costs at a minimum and collaborate on how to extend the audience for this gallery. It is a learning process all round as all members have different strengths and bring many insightful ideas.
The phone number for the gallery is 519-836-4243. The gallery is open Friday through Saturday 11- 5 and Sunday 12 – 4 but it is best to call ahead during the week to ensure that a member is present and that the gallery is open. Goldie Sherman is almost always in the gallery during the week, but does take advantage of glorious days for inspiring ‘mental health days’ with her puppy-pal Ting (don’t be jealous).
The gallery is located at 80 Norfolk Street in Guelph. There is parking out front or just around the corner in front of The Stone Store.
